Agreed. Aside from the white stripes, in my opinion, the Sure-Grip XL-75's are identical, and maybe a little better. And they're about half the price.

I'm not knocking Riedell. I used to have a pair of Reidell art boots. They were great until I outgrew them.
I just thing the white stripes are outdated. I think that if it weren't for the movie, they would be relegated to rental speed skate duty for the most part.

Agreed, and don't get me wrong I'm not knocking Riedell either, they are a great boot. One thing I like most about other manufacturers over Riedell is that others have a more open toe box which is better for people with wider feet like me. I do agree however that had it not been for Whip It, the 265 boot, and that style altogether since the rental that uses that style boot is made by Sure-Grip, would just be relegated to rentals.
