My wife has a pair of white leather roller skates that she has had since the 80s when she was a kid. Her family owned a rink and evidently these skates were top of the line back then. I would like to have the leather cleaned and reconditioned and/or dyed if necessary and have the trucks either reconditioned or replaced. I guess I'm looking for a total recondition of the pair. I'd like to do this for her as a Christmas gift as she wants to get our 3 y/o daughter a set of her own for Christmas too. Can anyone recommend a good shop to have this done? I live in Texas but will ship nationwide.
I consider that to be two different services, actually. I would take them to a good cobbler to have the boots redone. Then put fresh cushions in the plates. Maybe new wheels and toe stops.

Most people do one or the other well.
Yeah not many places that could do both well
