Full Version: Boots with good ankle padding?

Hey, I am looking to replace my Vanilla boots. I have had a problem with these since the beginning, no matter what I do they rub my inner ankle bad every time I wear them. I am looking at a couple of different ones. Vanilla brass knuckle, suregrip s85, riddle 126, and jackson elite.

I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with any of the above boots, or knows of some high end quality boots that have good padding. The Vanillas that I have are just bare leather and I can't take it anymore!

Thank you for any help.
Go with the Vanilla Blackouts or SG S85.

The Jacksons run narrow and the 126's will give you the same issue with ankles.

Awesome! Thank you for the reply! It's good to know that about Jackson's I was kinda leaning toward those. I emailed the online retailer where I was looking and they recombined the Riedell 965, those are nice but they are also about $150 more than I was looking to spend.
