My newest setup: the same Rock Flames boots that I have had for a couple of years, but everything under them is new, except for the skullies.

Sure-grip XK-4 45º DA plates, Fomac dance plugs, Twister wheels on ABEC-7 bronze cage bearings.

I couldn't be happier with the plates. The turning and stability are outstanding. No surprises when skating on these puppies. I short-plated this time around, and I will never go back to the conventional plate sizing. These are size #5 plates (6 7/8") on size 12 boots.

Time for an update. My outdoor skates:
S-G Super-X plate under a Fila driving shoe. Short forward mount.

Maybe, but I don't see anyone else posting those awesome fila whatever you call those things! when I can get all my wheels off my Derby girls I'll take a pic of the family skates, hopefully by then I'll have my new custom Bonts with Boens! it still won't be as impresive as Courtney's collection, but as I'm not a person with money, I like to think I'm getting there.

I've got two pairs that I practice in but I've only competed in my Harlicks in Figures. Next year, probably dance in my other pair and loops next month will be in my Riedells.
