The latest offering in the Sure-Grip DA45 line will be machined from billet aluminum. Called the Avenger, it will have the adjustable pivot pins as the others.

I have read that it is slightly lighter than the Invader, but don't yet know how it stacks up weight wise against the magnum.

Details are still sketchy, but apparently there is more to it than that. I will post more as information is revealed.

I'd love to be going to Rollercon, but since I can't I can still look forward to all the new products.

It will be officially unveiled at Rollercon in about a week. THEN they will allow pictures to be released. We will still have to wait a bit for them to be available. The projection is for the fall of this year, but I have not heard a specific date.

There is another plate in the works that I am even more intrigued about, though not from S-G. I hope to hear more about that one after Rollercon. Sneaky

One more tidbit about the Avenger; it will feature a hollow kingpin, and no locknut against the plate. Thumbsupup

Possibly a self-locking tapered stud? We shall have to wait and see......

New pics from SG's facebook of this plate is up.. I'd roll this plate, I was curious about KP from a spy pic on the log that it initially looked like it was pressed in- It definitely looks like it is secured in the plate with what looks like hefty splines but then again they maybe threaded, either way I'm sold I hope they get released to the public like the ones in the pic so i can get a set for my 13 YO daughter to replace her skins plate. I think she would like em a bit better on the bottom of her rebel boot. They look STRONG !! Good1

And if they get priced accordingly around the rest of the SG line they are gonna sell like hotcakes..

Most definitely going to be ditching my Invaders for a set of these! Probably going to be mated to a set of XL-95's if SG makes them more readily available in the fall or a set of Riedell 126's or 165's (the boot on the "Vixen" package, Riedell has changed the branding design on them so they don't have that hideous RIEDELL script down the sign, just the stylized "R")
