New old stock, but new nonetheless. I can't wait to try these bad boys out. They may need some machining before I can use them, but they look like they may be usable as-is.



If these turn out to be a awesome as I suspect they will be, I may try to snag a spare set from Niteridr before he runs out of them.

My plan is to test them out, then maybe polish the hubs and maybe even dye them black. I'm not to keen on black really. You can't see the dirt build-up on them like you can the light colored wheels.

I put my bearings in them and the rolling surfaces are true, so I will test them out just as they are.
The only problem now is that I have to wait until Sunday.

i dont see the whole set being true... i found 1/2 of the ones i got to be out of round.... you got very very very lucky if all yours are round

Some of the outer edges are uneven, and one of the backs has an unfinished area, but nothing that would keep me from trying them out. The important part appears to be true on all eight. I was rolling around the kitchen and they felt great.

I may have gotten pick of the litter because I was like the first one to pay.

I told the kids they are Army issue. Some white stencil letters would look right.

All of the front bores were a snug fit. All of the back bores were on the loose side in that the bearings just dropped in, but did not feel sloppy at all. They were consistent in that regard.

Yes I am lucky....or blessed. So many things have gone right today. Today was an awesome day.

Others who have them seem to love them. They are bound to be better than the worn Twisters that I have been punishing for months now.

I think I will polish the hubs and dye them black. They will look pretty blingin' on my black boots and shiny XK-4 plates. Like Vitaman's skates, but with flames.

but be careful on those res... you weigh more then me but with my weight i feel great on the straight away yet on certain floors if i go hard into a power slide i lose my grip.... they dont act like a normal wheel
